Pooja Hegde was born on October 13, 1990, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She completed her schooling at Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai. After completing her schooling, she went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Mithibai College in Mumbai.
Pooja was always interested in fashion and modeling, and she started participating in beauty pageants while she was in college. She was crowned Miss India South in 2010, which opened doors for her in the modeling industry.
